The design vision was to create a place where men are able to work on meaningful projects at their own pace in their own time in the company of other men. A major objective was to advance the well-being and health of members.

A main circulation spine frames a meaningful shedder activity narrative through the Menshed: - transparent and inviting street appearance, - thoughtful journey into the Menshed with view corridors, sequenced space making, terraces, linking the public and private places, integrating inside to outside, - transparency for maximum natural light and human connection,- architectural language of human scale veranda spaces with personality when viewed from the street.

The building encourages community integration through a transparent building skin, harnessing natural light whilst providing intimate views to its user activity inside from the public street.
