Project Description:

This proposal is for a 4 storey, 106 bed facility on a site on Biggera Creek adjacent the Broadwater.  The site has a water frontage of almost 100m to the creek facing South South-East.
The proposed village will cater for independent living, assisted care and high care in an environment that will foster a sense of community and involvement. Accommodation varies from studio rooms for high care to single, 2 and 3 bedroom for the assisted care and independent living.  The development has been designed to allow staging so that the higher demand market can be addressed quicker while ensuring sensible risk management for the developers.  The proposed staging can also be undertaken with minimal disruption to existing residents and the effective functioning of the existing facility.

The proposal boasts extensive landscape and recreation areas with almost 49% of the site being recreation and a further 570sq.m. of rooftop recreation.  The existing boardwalk and pontoons will be refurbished to add an extra dimension to the residents recreation options.  Extensive indoor community facilities have been provided including Lounge Rooms, Dining and Kitchen, café/restaurant, Reception, Library, Gym etc.
